While travelling through Spain, my parents recently wanted an italian, and we found this chain I hadn’t seen before. To my suprise, my city had two of them.
The vibe was pretty nice, the waiters… creepily nice, and the menu had a lot of fancy fusion-ey looking things.
Despite the menu having many new and interesting offerings for me to try, I went with the old reliable. Ham and mushroom pizza (with an egg!).
When it arrived at the desk, I was a bit taken aback. It was massive. However, once I started eating it, I realized it wasnt really as filling as I would have expected, as the crust was really thin (positive). The crust was really good, in my opinion.
[!NOTE] I’ve realized I always praise the crust. Maybe I just like bread.
The egg was also a really nice touch. I enjoy sometimes adding one whenever I make a pizza at home.
That is, however, where the praise ends. While I didn’t really find a reason, the pizza itself was a bit… flavorless. I have no idea how they achieved that. The ham, cheese and pizza were all incredibly bland.
Oh well.
At least my parents really enjoyed one of the risottos they had. One made with beef ragu, I believe. Honestly it looked really good. If I ever go back, I’ll probably stay away from the pizzas.
