This week, I didnt do too much, I feel like it was mostly, work, but I did see quite a few movies!
Firstly, I saw the new Spiderman movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day with my family. I havent seen any of the other Tom Holland Spiderman movies, but I thought it was quite entertaining. Not life changing, but it was a good time. I did feel like a lot of the “deep” scenes had nonsensical dialogue though, and the spanish localization felt like it had a lot of literally-translated idioms from english, which were left as they sort of made sense, but no one would ever speak like that in spanish.

Then, a couple days later, I was bored at home, I checked the cinema, and saw they were still showing Obsession, so I decided to check it out on a whim. I’m not a horror fan, in fact I quite dislike it, and while this movie has not changed that, I do not regret seeing it, it was good.

Then, just a few minutes ago, I finally watched something that’s been on my watchlist for ages, Tokyo Story. I really enjoyed it. It was emotional, but subtle. I really enjoy this kind of movie, like Still Walking or Shoplifters by Hirokazu Kore-Eda.

And for a couple non-movie related things, I planned an itinerary for a trip I’ll be doing with my parents to Copenhagen, I’m quite looking forward to it.
And some baking, not much, but I bought a Pokémon baking book, which I’ve flipped through and find intimidating yet really cool. And I decided to make a Bidoof pretzel & peanut-butter cheesecake from it. I think it came out great (90% of the bidoof face was made by my friend Chalbus though, so I cant take credit for that). Overall, im really happy with it. The only issue is the cake base is just a crumble, I was not able to pulverize the pretzels sufficiently with the equipment I had at home, so the crust kind of falls apart… but who cares, its still very tasty, lets just call it a crust-less cheesecake with a pretzel crumble :)

Take care, until next week.
